Warranty length depends on the trade, because a paver base and a plant do not fail the same way. Here is exactly what we cover and for how long. Every term below is written into your contract before we break ground, and one company stands behind all of it.

Duralum: Transferable lifetime warranty
Duralum patio covers and pergolas carry a transferable lifetime warranty, so the coverage follows the home to the next owner.
Alumawood: 10 year warranty
Alumawood lattice and solid patio covers are backed by a 10 year manufacturer warranty against finish and structural defects.
4K: 20 year limited warranty
4K aluminum pergolas carry a 20 year limited warranty, the longest coverage of the three shade systems we build.
Manufacturer plus workmanship: Two layers of coverage
Products carry their manufacturer warranty. Our installation carries ours. You deal with one company for both, and we handle the manufacturer claim for you.

A Warranty Is Only Worth the Company Behind It
A long warranty from a contractor who will not be here in three years is just paper. We have been doing residential design and install in the Valley for more than 30 years, we are licensed under Arizona ROC 154755, bonded, insured, and we hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Our paver crews are ICPI Certified Installers and we are an Authorized Belgard Contractor, which is what lets us pass the manufacturer paver warranty through to you.
Because we build the whole yard under one contract, there is no argument about whose trade failed. If something we installed goes wrong inside its warranty period, you make one call and we handle it, including the manufacturer claim.

Does Dream Retreats warranty its work?
Yes. Every Dream Retreats build carries a written warranty, and the length depends on the trade. Concrete paver installation carries a lifetime warranty on the pavers with 2 years on labor, artificial turf is covered for 15 years, masonry, irrigation, and low voltage lighting labor are covered for 2 years, and electrical work is covered for 1 year. Shade structures carry their manufacturer warranty, up to a transferable lifetime warranty on Duralum.
How long is the warranty on paver installation?
The pavers themselves carry a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Our installation work, including the compacted base, edge restraint, and jointing, is warrantied for 2 years. Natural stone pavers such as travertine and flagstone are warrantied for 2 years.
What is the warranty on artificial turf?
Artificial turf is warrantied for 15 years. That is our longest standard coverage and it applies to putting greens, pet areas, and lawn installations.
Are plants covered by a warranty?
Plant material is fully warrantied for 90 days. Between 90 days and one year we will still replace a plant that fails, and you cover only the cost of the plant itself, not the labor.
What warranty comes with a pergola or patio cover?
It depends on the system. Duralum carries a transferable lifetime warranty. 4K aluminum pergolas carry a 20 year limited warranty. Alumawood carries a 10 year warranty. We walk you through the differences during design so you can choose with the coverage in mind.
How long is the warranty on landscape lighting?
Low voltage landscape lighting fixtures carry a lifetime warranty. The transformer, wiring, and installation labor are warrantied for 2 years.
What is the warranty on irrigation?
Irrigation and drip systems are warrantied for 2 years, covering valves, lines, emitters, controllers, and the installation.
Does Dream Retreats provide ongoing maintenance?
No. We are a design and build company, not a maintenance service. We design low maintenance yards and we stand behind the build with the warranties above. If something we installed fails inside its warranty period, you call us and we take care of it.
